Mouna R'miki (RIMA)
Mouna is happy to collaborate with Angle Project Theater for the first time and honored to be part of the "Lost & Guided" adventure. She is an actor, writer, producer, dialect/language coach, fierce eyebrow raiser, emotional creature. Her work on stage has been seen at La MaMa ETC, Signature, Skirball Center of Perf. Arts, Dixon Place, JACK, Theaterlab, Bushwick Starr, Kraine Theater, among others. She co-wrote, co-produced & acted in Nowhere/Now Here directed by John Gould Rubin & Kat Yen. Film – Writer, co-producer and actor in “The Green Lottery”, Sara in The Guest (Festival circuit: "Special Mention Award of Merit " at the LA Best Shorts Competition / Castell Award at the Barcelona Film Festival..) ; SAGA (Tangier Film Festival official selection) /TV-La Recett.e de l'Amour (2M TV Morocco). Shayan Sobhian (SAMI)
Shayan is an actor originally from Boston, MA. His father immigrated from Iran in 1979 to escape religious persecution and pursue higher education in America. His mother's family also came to America to escape religious persecution, but from Russian in the early 20th century. He is a recent graduate of the SUNY Purchase B.F.A. Acting conservatory where he appeared in numerous shows such as Blues for Mr. Charlie, A Lie of the Mind and The Winter's Tale. Shayan would like to dedicate his performance to the Bahá'ís in Iran, who are threatened every day by an unceasing government-led oppression denying them their basic human rights. #EducationIsNotACrime • insta @shayansobhian
Alexandra Kattan (Student, Girl, Rebel Patient, Ensemble)
Alexandra is proud to make her debut with The Angle Project Theater Company. She is currently entering her third year at NYU Tisch School of the Arts as a drama major and enjoys creating her own work on the side. She recently played the role of Jen in Drunk by Bekah Brunstetter at the Atlantic and is currently working on writing an all female comedy series with her friends.
Susan Cohen DeStefano (GRANDMOTHER, MOURNING PARENT, PATIENT, ENSEMBLE)
Susan has appeared on stage in THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Mother Abbess), OLIVER! (Widow Corney and Mrs. Sowerberry), THE MUSIC MAN (Widow Paroo), CAROUSEL (Nettie Fowler), SISTER ACT (Sister Mary Lazarus), LITTLE WOMEN (Aunt March), HANKY PANKY (Rachel Zuckerman) THE POUND (Madam) and MAN OF LA MANCHA (Housekeeper). She and Irene Kapustinalast worked together in AFTER DARK, by Lavinia Roberts. She appeared in multiple roles in both productions of THE SPOON RIVER PROJECT at The Green-Wood Cemetery in her native Brooklyn, New York. Her film appearances include THE GIFT, SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE and RUMI’S RUMBA. Susan has also served Reform and Conservative synagogues as a cantor for almost 20years. She lives in Englewood, New Jersey with her husband, journalist/author Tony DeStefano, Cody-the-Wonderful-Wiener-Dog and Eve, the madcapcat.
Jarrod Zayas (Officer, Soldier, Guard)
Jarrod is a proud member of the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theater Company, with whom he has appeared in productions of Deliverance, Cool Hand Luke, The Pilo Family Circus, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Other New York stage credits include Poor People (Fringe NYC), The Resistor Project (The Dirty Blondes), and Apocalypse Neo (NY Neo-Futurists). Thanks to Irene for the opportunity!
